MJ is the oldest of 4 girls with one older brother. Her early years had very humble beginnings. As a youth, she didn’t envision a future involving public speaking. She wasn’t much of a talker. Instead, she listened, learned, and applied what she learned. She began helping others by simply sharing her knowledge and experiences. Well, SHE is talking know!


MJ is a Visionary and Experienced Professional with over 15 of experience in developing and executing diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) strategies to achieve organizational goals. She has led countless recruiting efforts and hiring initiatives. In her career, she has more than 25 years of experience across the construction, manufacturing, aviation, commercial real estate, and global government services industries, giving her a unique understanding of companies' diverse hiring needs.


MJ is knowledgeable about DEI best practices and trends, with demonstrated ability to stay current on emerging research and industry developments. She is a skilled facilitator and trainer with experience in leading workshops, discussions, and other DEI-related learning opportunities for employees and leadership teams. She has a demonstrated ability to build and lead diverse teams, leveraging strengths and perspectives of individuals with different backgrounds and experiences. She is an effective project manager with experience in leading large-scale, cross-functional initiatives related to diversity, equity, and inclusion.


An alumna of Prairie View A&M University, MJ has been successful at forming strong relationships and partnerships within the community. She has a passion for mentoring and advising youths and women, and she finds joy in sharing her knowledge on life skills, personal development, and career path coaching.


MJ’s desire to achieve, strong will and unwavering dedication have allowed her to gain experiences and triumph in multiple industries. She realized she had to step out of her comfort zone to achieve exceptional levels of success. Her driving force has been her family. Their love, support and encouragement have been essential in her ability to push forward and create her own opportunities rather than wait for opportunity to knock.
